u as well mate..actually cashed in on dzeko to score first the other day at 3-1...of course i didn't post it and that's the one that won!....it's gonna be tough to stop this potent offense all year...talked to my brother this afternoon..he let me know that the nasri signing is all but a done deal...he was at carrington yesterday to perform his physical....not that they need him but when you are in 4 competitions u are going to need as many men on deck as possible...like them a lot at bolton this weekend...seems like every game will have a very interesting line up...cheers

and let game #2 of the season reflect my initial 'mancini is a fucking idiot' post...no game, and i don't care how many games they play this year, should have barry and milner starting at the same time...it's a total insult to adam johnson that those 2 get a start over him...italian soccer is so boring and that is what mancini tries to put out on the pitch....why not give tevez or balotelli a shot as a third striker...who needs 4 mids (3 defensive holding ones at that) with a defense like city possess...he always leaves me scratching my head...

taking the big win and running..thought the davies goal against hart was soft...coulda nailed that 3-1 final on the nose had hart not stuttered..cost him that goal dearly as he was caught off his line being indecisive......and mancini again leaving u bewildered with late game substitutions....i get zabs coming in...but for silva?...how about for milner?,,the guy just got plastered and was on the sideline getting treatment...so u left yerself a man short...sometimes i wonder if we are watching the same match?...cheers

8/28 sunday....city+160 at spurs....there's a reason i am throwing down large on this one....and if u had told me 2-3 years ago i would back city v. spurs i would tell you that yer nuts..spurs and everton have always had the citizens#..now the tables have turned....i was hoping for some sort of result out of spurs v. utd to get a good # here but spurs look lost without modric in the middle...there was tons of real estate to be had in the middle of the spurs field it was silly, on monday...and that plays right into city's hands..city even with all their talent still don't play wide...they play up the middle...ol' harry looked senile toward his squad on monday...terrible shots from 40 yards out...no cohesion...lennon and defoe showing their waste of talent and the duo of van der vaart and bale looking for someone to strike from the middle after nice runs was not to be had...spurs are in some serious disarray this year....gonna take a small poke at city 4-2 @60-1 odds....but will surely take a city romp as well....

i thought spurs were atrocious on monday. they didn't want to take any chances and when they did go forward, left themselves vulnerable for counters. that Kabul is a big mutha but really an unimpressive defense. Gotta think Spurs will have a totally diff mindset at home, very offensive, and i don't think that defense can keep Money City off the board at least 2x. Lennon down the right and Bale down the left is as good as it gets in the EPL so they'll score as well. Over is a must play since I can never bet on City :)

hahaha...i hear ya about not being able to bet on city....same way i feel about SAF and utd...but when the price is right u gotta roll the bones....lennon is fast no doubt, but plays waaay out of control....there is no one in the middle to score for them...absolutely no presence...defoe is a tosser....i'll give u bale and van der vaart...world class no doubt....but even they will start to feel the weight of trying to carry this squad all year...winning on the road in the epl is obviously a big to-do...city showed they could do it last year and have started well this year, as well....spurs don't scare me anymore...and i concur about our defense...they are solid but get very lax at inopportune moments...it keeps teams in games that don't deserve to be in them(see bolton last week for example)...maybe city will just outscore teams all year with their cache of offensive weapons..which now includes samir nasri....can't say i understand the pick-up...but being in 4 competitions i guess the abundance of wealth is a necessity for the clueless 'wop' coaching them...cheers

as I'm watching the Reds dismantle the Gunners I truly believe we (city/utd) should just play 21 times to decide EPL title. These other games are just a stats-building nuisance :)

i just spit my corona out...hahaha.....being realistic...i have us down for 3 losses and 2 draws...feel we will split w/utd(hopefully)...of course, the usual loss at everton...draws with chelsea and liverpool....and no doubt we will fall asleep at the switch v. the likes of wolves or norwich or the like...something stupid like that seems to happen every campaign....i am ecstatic no doubt, but something will have to give sooner or later...the whole season can't be cloud9 can it?...the forces of nature would never let a perfect season ever happen at city....ps..arsenal n spurs had the look of quit in their respective eyes today...something i've never seen...and with all the noise being made up in the northwest...don't fall asleep on the blues down in london....their manager seems to have some attitude on him and they are still a solid squad

nah, watched chelsea against both wba and norwich and they just don't have "it". Mata nice signing no doubt but they lack in every sector, IMO. And, with Drogba out now for who knows how long (but have to assume if you're unconscious for 30 minutes you've got a hell of a concussion) and them playing in europe I just don't think they have the squad to cope. It pains me to say but Liverpool have impressed though when they play City/Utd/Chel they'll come back down

the team that surprised me the most is everton. they're a monster bet against team right now. they were horrible against qpr and even worse against blackburn who are two of 4 favorites for the drop. The 3 points they took out of blackburn can only be considered a miracle

I think City do need to sell off Tevez in the next 2 days. For one, you don't need him, but more importantly when he's unhappy he's very vocal. You don't need the distraction on what looks to be a very special team
